About This Work:
Our home is nestled into the side of a dune covered with trees. Because of this, we don’t get a lot of natural light. It was an adjustment the first couple of years living here, but now, I relish how cozy and tucked away it feels. How the trees curve over us like arms of protection. How this forest is a safe home to many living things. Like the delicate fern that unfurls in the spring, its fronds spreading out over the forest floor, I love these natural shelters and all they protect.
